Quality Achievements
QUALITY AND OUTCOMES FRAMEWORK
For the year ending March 2008 we achieved 999.15 points out of a possible 1000.
For the year ending March 2009 we achieved 970.44 points. The reason for the drop in our figures was due to the patient survey.
The Department of Health organised a survey asking patients about access. Patients were asked if they could book more than 2 days ahead. 122 patients responded, 98 said yes they could book more than two days ahead and 24 said no they could not book more than 24 days ahead.
We have always allowed patients to book four weeks in advance.
Patients were also asked if they could book an appointment within 48 hours. 108 patients responded, 83 said yes and 25 said no. We are continually striving to achieve 48 hour access.
Unfortunately because of this survey our QOF points were less this year.
